The Digital Transformation practice encompasses so many parts of the digital journey: marketing, strategy, innovation, mobility, and interactivity. These are just some of the many facets of our practice.

So, the opportunity to learn something new is always there.

With that said, don’t be afraid to jump in.

One of the great things about being at Sogeti is something you’ll hear Sogetians talk about a lot. The support for continuing your education and career advancements are in a league of their own in comparison to many other companies. If you have the desire to go above and beyond, Sogeti will fully support you on that journey. We have a robust counselor program that gives you a senior person that will be there to help you along the way.

I was hired at Sogeti shortly after graduating with an MS in management information systems (MIS) from the University of Colorado Denver. Although I had some experience in the work field, I was paired with a senior consultant that could guide me towards my goals, including opportunities to learn new technologies. As a result, my skillset has exponentially grown since I’ve been here.

Now that I’ve been here for a bit, I’m now taking opportunities to explore other career paths. I want to continue to grow in everything I do and constantly challenge myself to continue learning. Sogeti has been instrumental in helping me to pursue whatever avenue I want. I have had opportunities to work in sales pursuits, various technical roles, and team leadership. It’s great to have more and more opportunities to support my local unit and be a pat of the greater business.  

I am currently working with a county to help coordinate their data migration to the cloud. It’s an awesome thing to be a part of because it will impact every employee in the county and promote more collaboration and better efficiency. Again, this is just another opportunity for me to add my skillset and make myself more valuable as a part of this company.

You must be open to failure as that’s how we grow. We make mistakes and grow form them. But you have to take risks (jump in) and put yourself out there in order to take advantage of those opportunities.
