Sogeti Expands Relationship with Microsoft Through Windows Azure Solutions
 
For the second consecutive year, Sogeti and Microsoft have signed a Memo of Understanding establishing an increased level of commitment to the relationship regarding Windows Azure Solutions.
 
Dayton, OH 10/11/2011 Sogeti, a leading provider of professional technology services, announced today that it will expand upon its existing relationship efforts with Microsoft through the signing of the second consecutive Memo of Understanding targeting Windows Azure Solutions.
 
During the next twelve months, Sogeti will collaborate closely with Microsoft to expand current Windows Azure offerings for clients, launch targeted sales and consultant training programs, conduct future Windows Azure Privilege Club events and launch a global Windows Azure Delivery Center.

Building a Team of the Most Highly Trained Global Windows Azure Consultants
Sogeti is committed to expanding the Windows Azure knowledge base to over 50% of their global Microsoft consultants through a comprehensive training program. Participation in this program will ensure that Sogeti has one of the largest consultant populations to be expertly trained in delivering complex solutions on the Windows Azure platform. Sogeti sales executives worldwide will also have access to specialized Microsoft resources that will help to increase their level of Windows Azure Solution awareness.
 
Upon the completion of the advanced training programs, Sogeti plans to launch a global Windows Azure Delivery Center that will feature the most highly skilled Windows Azure consultants.
 
The Windows Azure Delivery Center is unique because it will provide a-one-of-a-kind center focusing on specialized Windows Azure development and delivery capabilities for our clients and Windows Azure ISV partners. The delivery center will utilize a hybrid model, with consultants located in 5 major hubs across Europe, North America and Asia. The Sogeti Windows Azure Delivery Center will focus on development of end customer solutions, co-innovation of ISV solutions on the Windows Azure platform, and mobility applications.
 
The Sogeti Windows Azure Privilege Club – Expanding an Award Winning Concept
In addition to the training and delivery center commitments, Sogeti and Microsoft have also agreed to expand the Windows Azure Privilege Club.
 
The initial launch of the Sogeti Azure Privilege Club began in January 2011, as a joint initiative between Sogeti and Microsoft to help a select group of global clients improve their business process and performance through cloud computing, enabled by Microsoft’s Windows Azure platform. The club enabled participating clients to launch their own innovative cloud solutions with guidance and expertise provided by both Sogeti and Microsoft.
 
The Windows Azure Privilege Club allowed Sogeti and Microsoft to build a series of unique and groundbreaking client applications on the Windows Azure platform across multiple industries.
 
The future occurrences of the Windows Azure Privilege Club are planned to take place at a national level with several opportunities for innovative global collaboration between participating clients. Sogeti is planning Windows Azure Privilege Clubs in France, the Netherlands, Sweden and the United States in the upcoming months.
 
The success of the first Windows Azure Privilege Club was acknowledged by Microsoft through the Microsoft Recognition and Appreciation Award that was presented by Mark Hill during a private Sogeti event held during the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in July 2011. The award honored Sogeti’s innovation and approach to Windows Azure solutions through the Sogeti Windows Azure Privilege Club.
