Edwards. |

Solution
Sogeti was engaged to support the client in the accelerated deployment of JDE software modules and supporting changes to C&I's existing technical architecture in support of the vision and strategy. This was carried out under an aggressive program plan to roll out the CMC's across a number of countries in Europe . Overall, the client's (C&I) implementation included the following JD Edwards World modules: ECS Distribution including Advanced Pricing, Bulk Stock Inventory Management and Purchasing. Financials including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Address Book and Fixed Assets. |

Benefits
Following an initial project structuring and planning exercise used to define scope and to confirm implementation time scales, Sogeti's approach was to undertake a number of parallel work streams in support of the first country implementation in Belgium and to stagger the subsequent implementations in order to utilize key outputs from the initial country. Within the framework of our Package Enabled Reengineering methodology, a key element of our approach was to undertake gap analyses between template deliverables from the first country implementation and subsequent country requirements to determine the critical differences in process, legal, interface and data conversion requirements which needed to be addressed.
