Solution
The solution was to create a dynamic n-tier architected web portal application. The design is modular and dynamic to fit each of the clients 100 employers. The portal included 75 benefits for employers to choose from, helpful benefit tips and tools, and relevant streaming news articles incorporated from a syndicated content provider. The first task was to design and build a complete information architecture scheme and supporting technical architecture. A prototype using these concepts was constructed. After the user community reviewed it, their comments were incorporated. Next, the technical architecture was finalized. The modules were coded and database populated. The portal was tested and moved to production. In order to meet the overall client schedule, the entire effort needed to be competed in three months. |
