What I like most about my job?
As a consultant, I like that my job will always consist of variety. I will be on one assignment for a period of time, and then I will leave and have the chance to move on to a completely different assignment in a totally new environment. I also work with a variety of people on a daily basis, including clients, end users and fellow developers, and have a variety of opportunities within Sogeti itself, instead of just being a "software developer."
 

What is/was my greatest professional challenge?
My greatest professional challenge is being able to become familiar and proficient with numerous technologies. While my current assignment may call for a specific skill, my next assignment may call for something completely different, and I need to be prepared for that new challenge. I must always be improving my skill set in order to be prepared.
 
Secret of my success?

I'm good at working with the client and always strive to develop a good relationship with them. I go out of my way to make the client feel comfortable and at ease with me and the work I am doing. The client needs to feel confident in their consultant before they will trust their work. A great consultant is a great communicator.

 
Sogeti is a good place to work because?
Sogeti is a company that will not just place you and then forget about you. Sogeti is a great safety net behind me, where I can turn to for resources, help, personal growth and familiar faces. I truly feel as if I am a part of the Sogeti company, and that I can benefit because of that.
 
After work I really enjoy?
 I graduated from Xavier University only a few years ago, and I'm still very much living the college life. I live with 3 other friends from Xavier. We play during the week, we go out on the weekends, and we have very carefree lifestyles. I also love to travel, play guitar, listen to Pearl Jam and go kayaking.
