Jason Parks, Sogeti Microsoft Practice Manager for the Baltimore area, will deliver a presentation featuring the enhancements to the Microsoft SharePoint technologies family, as well as key investment areas on December 13th at the Microsoft office in Malvern, Pennsylvania. This will include a demonstration that provides an overview of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, with examples of how to use key services to address specific business needs. Jason will also review key points about SharePoint development such as when to use the SP object model vs. standard ASP.NET web parts. The different levels of workflow will be covered with the tools you should use for developing each. Participants will learn how to develop their own features and deploy them, and about current development aids.

Jason Parks is the Microsoft Practice Manager for Sogeti in Baltimore, Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley. He specializes in helping customers solve business challenges using Microsoft Enterprise applications including, SharePoint, Project Server and Microsoft Office development. Has been working with SharePoint technologies since SPS 2003 beta in 2002, and is the National Solution Leader for Microsoft Information Worker technologies.
