Luc-François Salvador takes over from Georges Cohen at the head of Sogeti-Transiciel
Paris, 7 April 2005 - In agreement with the general management of the Capgemini Group, Mr. Georges Cohen is ceasing his activities at the head of Sogeti-Transiciel as of today. Mr. Georges Cohen, former Chairman and CEO of Transiciel, took up this role upon Capgemini’s takeover of the company at the end of 2003 and led its integration into the Group throughout 2004.
Capgemini’s CEO Paul Hermelin has appointed Mr. Luc-François Salvador as head of this entity. Since joining the Group 27 years ago, Mr. Luc-François Salvador has held a number of important responsibilities within the Group’s different entities, particularly as head of Cap Gemini Exploitation. He was also one of the pillars behind the creation in January 2002 of the Sogeti company specialized in local professional services. As CEO of this new subsidiary, he was one of the principal players in the merger with Transiciel.
